How many of your weekends have started with the question: what are we doing today? Even when you're on holiday and out in the country: times and places that offer themselves to rest and contemplation.
It never ceases to amaze me how people are incapable to notice the marvellous reality that surrounds them.
Why do we feel under the obligation to be excessively productive and even read tips on how to be so?
Why do we feel the urge to claustrophobically talk about ourselves during a walk while nature around us is exploding with bloom, colour and sound?
Or if we don't, we're practising some new technique that promises to achieve 'serenity' and 'peace', but again here the onus is on us...
